I think we all want rapid weight loss. Who wants slow and painful weight loss? To lose weight rapidly, you need to keep your metabolism working at a fast pace and you need to reduce your calorie consumption. How fast is rapid weight loss? It means that your body will convert excess calories into fat even if you haven’t eaten all day. You can only use so many calories at one time. Any excess will be stored as fat. To keep your metabolism up and reduce your cravings for big meals, separating your daily intake into 4 to 5 smaller meals reaps big diet rewards. Eating one giant meal per day will make you gain weight even if it is the same number of calories as the smaller meals spaced out evenly. That is because your metabolism will slow down when there is no food and when you eat that big meal, the excess calories at that meal will be converted to fat, certainly not what you were expecting.
Eliminate fried foods from your diet. Fried foods are loaded with fat. You cannot sustain any weight loss if you are consuming too much fat, it just isn’t going to happen. You cannot go wrong by choosing minimally processed foods. Just go back to nature. Eat vegetables, fruits, nuts instead of french (or freedom) fries.
Drink lots of water. When losing weight, your body need lots of water to flush the fat out of your system. Drink at least eight 8oz. glasses of water a day. Oh, and if you drink the water very cold, your body will burn calories heating it up! Yes, it is true. Drinking lots of water also has the side benefit of suppressing your appetite. Not bad for a 0 calorie item, right?

Get a good night's sleep. Yes, you heard me right, lack of sleep will kill any diet. Lack of sleep does many bad things, but when dieting, it affects your metabolism and also contributes to eroding your energy level and enthusiasm. So go get a good night's sleep, your body will thank you for it.
